The Challenge
The client needed to scale their telemedicine platform from serving a small pilot group to handling nationwide demand. They required real-time data synchronization from multiple health devices, HIPAA compliance, and the ability to handle sudden traffic spikes.
Our Solution
We architected a microservices-based platform using Node.js for high-concurrency data processing. WebSocket connections enable real-time updates while Redis handles caching and pub/sub for instant notifications. PostgreSQL with proper indexing ensures fast queries even at scale.
